Limitations to know
- Converting frequency to wavelength needs the wave speed and is not included.
- Results are shown to up to 10 significant digits; extremely large or small values switch to scientific notation (e.g. 1.5e-12).
Privacy: Frequency Converter runs entirely in your web browser. Your Number data is not uploaded, stored or shared, and nothing about its contents is sent to analytics.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert RPM to Hz?
Divide by 60. For example, 1,800 rpm ÷ 60 = 30 Hz.
What is the difference between Hz and rad/s?
Hz counts full cycles per second; rad/s measures angle per second. One hertz equals 2π (about 6.283) rad/s.
