How to use Split PDF
- Choose or drop a PDF file.
- Pick a split mode: custom ranges, every N pages, or every page.
- For ranges, type them like “1-3, 5, 8-10” – each range becomes one file.
- Click “Split PDF” and download the ZIP (or the single PDF).
Examples
- A 30-page report with chapters on pages 1-9, 10-21 and 22-30: enter “1-9, 10-21, 22-30” to get three chapter PDFs.

Frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into selected pages?
Choose “Custom ranges” and type the pages you want for each output file, separated by commas – for example “1-3, 7, 10-12” produces three PDFs. To get just some pages in one file, use Extract PDF Pages instead.
What is the difference between Split PDF and Extract Pages?
Split creates several output files, one per range. Extract Pages creates a single PDF containing only the pages you select.
Will the split files keep the original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied without re-compression, so text and images are unchanged.
