Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Mbps and MB/s?
Mbps is megabits per second; MB/s is megabytes per second. One byte is 8 bits, so divide Mbps by 8 to get MB/s.
How long will a 2 GB file take on a 100 Mbps connection?
100 Mbps is 12.5 MB/s, so 2,000 MB ÷ 12.5 ≈ 160 seconds (about 2.7 minutes) in ideal conditions.
